These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of https://yuneedthisspace.com, including its stories, digital publications, newsletters, Coffee Chats, workshops, retreats, appointments, and other services offered by ALCOVE.
By accessing the website, making a reservation, purchasing a product, subscribing to a newsletter, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.
ABOUT ALCOVE
ALCOVE is a space for stories, reflection, thoughtful conversation, and meaningful human connection. It offers written content, digital publications, online conversations, workshops, retreats, and related programs.
In these Terms, “ALCOVE,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to ALCOVE and its operator. “You” and “user” refer to any visitor, customer, subscriber, participant, or purchaser using the website or services.

ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to make a purchase or reserve a service through the website.
By using a paid service, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement. If you make a reservation or purchase on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
WEBSITE USE
You may use this website only for lawful, personal, and legitimate purposes.
You agree not to:
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with the operation or security of the website
• Attempt to access another user’s information or account
• Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information
• Copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit website content without permission
• Upload or transmit malicious software, harmful code, or disruptive material
• Harass, intimidate, discriminate against, or harm other participants
• Use ALCOVE content or services to train, populate, or develop commercial artificial intelligence systems without written permission
• Record, photograph, stream, or distribute a private session without prior consent
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
INFORMATION AND AVAILABILITY
We try to keep website information accurate and current. However, descriptions, prices, schedules, availability, formats, and program details may occasionally be corrected or updated.
We may modify, postpone, suspend, replace, or discontinue content, products, or services where reasonably necessary. If a material change affects a paid booking, we will provide an appropriate alternative, credit, rescheduling option, or refund as required by applicable law.
Website availability is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. Temporary interruptions may result from maintenance, technical problems, hosting services, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
COFFEE CHAT AND PROGRAM RESERVATIONS
Coffee Chats and other programs may be offered online or in person. The applicable product or booking page will state the scheduled duration, location, language, price, and available times.
When making a reservation, you agree to provide accurate contact and booking information.
A booking is confirmed only after the booking system displays confirmation or sends a confirmation email. Adding a time to your calendar without receiving confirmation does not necessarily constitute a completed reservation.
Online sessions may be conducted using Google Meet or another announced platform. You are responsible for:
• Using a compatible device and stable internet connection
• Joining through the correct link at the scheduled time
• Checking the displayed date, time, and time zone
• Keeping your meeting link private
• Ensuring your microphone, camera, and audio settings work adequately
• Joining from an environment suitable for respectful conversation
Unless otherwise stated, a reservation applies only to the person named in the booking. Meeting links may not be shared with unregistered participants without permission.
RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION
Customers may use the rescheduling or cancellation links contained in their confirmation email when those options are enabled.
For free pilot Coffee Chat sessions, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time whenever possible. This allows the place to be offered to another participant.
Repeated non-attendance or misuse of free reservations may result in limitations on future bookings.
For paid sessions:
• Cancellation and refund conditions displayed on the relevant booking page apply
• Where no separate condition is displayed, contact us as soon as possible at space@yuneedalcove.com
• Refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the booking
• Payment processor charges that cannot legally or technically be recovered may be deducted only where permitted by law and disclosed to the customer
If ALCOVE cancels a paid session and cannot provide a reasonable rescheduling option, the customer will receive a refund of the amount paid for that session.
ALCOVE is not responsible for a participant’s failure to attend because of an incorrect email address, overlooked confirmation email, time-zone misunderstanding, personal schedule conflict, device problem, or internet failure. We will nevertheless make reasonable efforts to assist where practicable.
COMMUNITY AND PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
ALCOVE programs are intended to provide respectful and thoughtful spaces.
Participants agree to:
• Treat others with dignity and respect
• Allow different perspectives to be expressed without harassment
• Avoid discriminatory, threatening, abusive, or sexually inappropriate conduct
• Respect personal boundaries and confidentiality
• Avoid dominating, intentionally disrupting, or derailing a session
• Follow reasonable facilitation and safety instructions
ALCOVE may warn, mute, remove, or exclude a participant whose conduct threatens the safety, privacy, or constructive participation of others. A participant removed for serious misconduct may not be entitled to a refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Participation does not require disclosure of private experiences. You may decline to answer a question or leave a conversation at any time.
PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY IN SESSIONS
Participants should treat personal stories shared during a Coffee Chat, workshop, or retreat with care and discretion.
However, ALCOVE cannot guarantee that every participant will keep information confidential. Do not disclose information that would create significant personal, professional, legal, financial, or safety risks if repeated outside the session.
Sessions will not be recorded by ALCOVE unless participants receive clear notice in advance and any legally required consent is obtained.
ALCOVE may take reasonable action or contact appropriate services if a statement indicates an immediate and serious risk of harm, or where disclosure is required by law.
NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE OR THERAPY
ALCOVE stories, Coffee Chats, reflective programs, workshops, and retreats are intended for education, reflection, creativity, and community connection.
They are not:
• Medical or mental-health treatment
• Psychotherapy or counseling
• Legal, financial, or tax advice
• Crisis intervention
• A substitute for qualified professional services
Participation does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, lawyer-client, or other regulated professional relationship.
If you are experiencing an emergency or immediate risk of harm, contact the appropriate local emergency or crisis service.
DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND MINI BOOKS
Digital products may include electronic books, PDFs, written guides, audio materials, or other downloadable content.
After a completed purchase, access may be provided through a download link, confirmation page, or email. You are responsible for providing a correct email address and downloading the product within any stated access period.
Your purchase provides a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the digital product for your own private use.
You may not:
• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, upload, or publicly share the product
• Make the product available through a shared drive, public website, messaging group, or file-sharing service
• Remove copyright or ownership notices
• Reproduce substantial portions for commercial purposes
• Present the content as your own work
• Use the product to train or create a competing commercial database or artificial intelligence system
Reasonable personal backup copies are permitted.
DIGITAL PRODUCT CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Digital products are generally delivered or made accessible shortly after payment.
Because digital content may be immediately accessible, cancellation or refund rights may be limited after downloading or accessing the content, to the extent permitted by applicable law and after any legally required notice or consent.
This does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded. Contact space@yuneedalcove.com if:
• The download link does not work
• The wrong product was delivered
• The file is materially defective or corrupted
• You were charged more than once for the same order
• Applicable consumer law gives you a cancellation or refund right
We may request reasonable information needed to verify and resolve the order.
PRICES, PAYMENTS, AND TAXES
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website or checkout page. Additional currency-conversion fees may be charged by your bank or payment provider.
Paid orders must be completed through a payment method offered at checkout. A purchase is not complete until payment is successfully authorized or otherwise confirmed.
You are responsible for providing correct billing and payment information. A payment provider may process payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Applicable taxes, if any, will be calculated, displayed, included, or otherwise handled as required by law.
We may correct an obvious pricing or listing error. If an error affects an already placed order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate option consistent with applicable law.
PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions, expiration dates, availability limits, or product restrictions.
Unless otherwise stated:
• Codes cannot be exchanged for cash
• Codes cannot be combined
• Only one code may be used per eligible order
• Misuse, duplication, or unauthorized distribution may result in cancellation
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its contents—including text, essays, mini books, program materials, graphics, photographs, logos, designs, recordings, and downloadable files—are owned by or licensed to ALCOVE and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view the website and use purchased content for permitted personal purposes. No ownership right is transferred to you.
Requests for quotation, reproduction, translation, publication, teaching, institutional use, or commercial licensing should be sent to space@yuneedalcove.com.
Short quotations may be used only where permitted by applicable law, with accurate attribution and without changing the meaning of the original work.
USER SUBMISSIONS
If you voluntarily send a message, testimonial, comment, response, photograph, story, or other material, you retain ownership of your original content.
Sending material to ALCOVE does not automatically give us permission to publish it publicly. We will request permission before using an identifiable testimonial, story, image, or personal contribution for public promotional purposes, unless you have already expressly agreed to such use.
You confirm that material you submit does not infringe another person’s rights or contain unlawful content.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including Hostinger, Google Calendar, Google Meet, email services, analytics providers, and payment processors.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. ALCOVE does not control their availability, security, or content and is not responsible for losses caused solely by an independent third-party service, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
A link to an external website does not necessarily mean ALCOVE endorses all of its content.
DISCLAIMERS
To the extent permitted by law, the website, content, and free services are provided on an “as available” basis.
ALCOVE does not guarantee:
• A particular emotional, personal, professional, or commercial outcome
• That every program will suit every participant
• Uninterrupted website or third-party platform availability
• That all content will remain permanently available
• That interactions among independent participants will meet every expectation
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ALCOVE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic loss arising from the use of the website or services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, ALCOVE’s liability relating to a paid product or service will be limited to the amount paid for the affected product or service, except where a greater remedy is required by law.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability resulting from fraud, willful misconduct, or other categories protected by applicable law.
INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims reasonably arising from your unlawful use of the website, infringement of another person’s rights, unauthorized sharing of protected content, or serious violation of these Terms.
This section does not make you responsible for losses caused by ALCOVE’s own unlawful conduct.
